Posts held since graduation: 1- A staff in diagnostic Bacteriology & Immunology laboratory in Basra General Hospital for 12 years. 2- External Lecturer in Higher School of Nursing for 4 years. 3- Post graduate student for Master degree at College of Medicine, University of Basrah in the field of Medical Microbiology/ Immunology from Nov. 6th1987 to Nov. 25th1989 involving attending courses in (Immunology, Bacteriology, Virology, Mycology, Animal Vectors, Biochemistry, Biostatistics) for 3 months, (Diagnostic Bacteriology, Diagnostic Immunology, Diagnostic Parasitology, Microbial Physiology, Genetics, Diagnostic Mycology, Diagnostic Virology, Molecular Biology) for 3 months. The two theory courses were at Baghdad University, College of Medicine, Microbiology Department. 4- Preparation of a thesis entitled “Human Leukocyte Antigens association with susceptibility to Herpes Simplex virus” presented to College of Medicine for Medical Specialization in Immunology. 5- Awarded the degree of "Master in Medical Microbiology/ Immunology”. 6- Post graduate student for PhD degree at Microbiology Dep. College of Medicine/ University of Basrah, in the field of Medical Microbiology/ Immunology from 2007 to 2011 involving attending courses in (Immunology, Bacteriology, Virology, Mycology, Animal Vectors, Biochemistry, Biostatistics, Pathology) for 3 months, (Diagnostic Bacteriology, Diagnostic Immunology, Diagnostic Parasitology, Microbial Physiology, Genetics, Diagnostic Mycology, Diagnostic Virology, Molecular Biology) for 3 months. 7- Preparation of a thesis entitled “Genotyping of HLA-DQA1 & HLA-DQB1 antigens among patients with H. pylori associated gastritis” presented to College of Medicine for Medical Microbiology, Immunology. 8- Awarded the degree of "PhD (Grad: very good) in Medical Microbiology/ Immunology.
