I joined the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah in 2006 after postgraduate studies in the Mechanical Engineering Department. I received my Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering at Cardiff University. I work in a number of scientific computing areas, mainly computational fluid dynamics, renewable energy, and energy storage. Research keywords: computational fluid dynamics, multi-moment methods, CIP-CSL methods, level set methods, Volume of Fluid, multi-phase flows, energy, and heat transfer.
