I am currently a professor at the University of Basrah, Iraq, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Plant Protection. I completed my doctoral degree at the University of Sheffield, England, UK, in 2020, funded by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR). At present, I serve as the principal investigator in bioremediation, focusing on the use of bacteria and fungi. Additionally, I am the head of the Mycotoxin Laboratory.
