دكتور فراس الحسون حاصل على شهادة البكالوريوس من كلية الطب البيطري جامعة البصرة. حاصل على شهادة الماجستير من كلية الطب البيطري باختصاص انسجة و تشريح بيطري عام 2009. حاصل على شهادة الدكتوراه اختصاص تشريح عام 2018 من جامعة ساوث كارولاينا.
I am Dr.Firas A. Al-Hasson, an assistance professor at veterinary Medicine college-University of Basrah.I dedicate focus on advancing knowledge in animal health, Anatomical and histological research. I pursue my undergraduate degree in Veterinary Medicine at University of Basrah in 2003.Then I followed my undergraduate degree with a Master in anatomy and histology from same university anf the Ph.D. in public health at University of South Carolina, where I conducted research on environment toxins link to human and animal health and diseases.
As a researcher, I have been fortunate to collaborate with various institutions and research teams worldwide. My primary research interests include liver and kidney diseases in obese individuals, and I have published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
In addition to research, I have also been actively involved in teaching at University of Basrah, where I mentor students pursuing careers in veterinary medicine and related fields. I have designed courses on Veterinary anatomy and histology and have supervised several postgraduate students in their research projects. It brings me great joy to contribute to the next generation of veterinary professionals and researchers.
Throughout my career, I have been invited to present at national and international conferences and symposiums, where I have shared my findings on environmental diseases. I also serve on the editorial in several journals.
Apart from academia and research, I am also dedicated to community outreach and awareness programs that promote animal health and welfare. I collaborate with animal advocacy groups to improve animal care practices and contribute to global initiatives addressing zoonotic diseases and emerging health threats.
Looking ahead, I remain committed to pushing the boundaries of veterinary science and finding innovative solutions to the challenges facing both animal and human health. I believe that interdisciplinary collaboration and continuous learning will be key to advancing the field and improving the lives of animals worldwide.
