Hend Muslim Jasim was born in Basra/Iraq on February 4, 1974. She obtained a diploma in Computer Science (1994) from the Basra Technical Institute and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (1999) from the University of Basra and a Master of Science (2017) from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her professional work experience includes 16 years of service as a programmer and system administrator. She worked as director of the Internet Department at the University Chancellor's Office, supervisor of the university's network, and database manager. Her current research interests include digital image processing and protection.
