Iman AL-Timimi received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1989, Master of Science degree in Physical Chemistry in 2002 at the University of Basrah and her doctorate in medical inorganic and nanomaterials at the Brunel University London in 2019. She joined the faculty at the University of Basrah since 1993. She is currently an academic career as an Associate Professor of Chemistry in faculty of Science at the University of Basrah. She is a member of the Royal Society and American Chemistry society since 2015.
